Woman, Unravelled
Woman, Unravelled is the short, sometimes sweary, no-bullsh*t podcast for women who feel like they’re holding everything together - but inside, it’s all coming undone.
Hosted by Michelle Haslam, a single mum and midlife truth-teller, each episode dives into the messy, magical, often maddening reality of being a woman over 40.
Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, stuck in a relationship, going through a divorce, juggling parenting, co-parenting, or wondering if it’s too late to start over - we’re talking about it here.
Expect blunt takes, honest stories, and episodes that never go over 30 minutes. Because, let’s be honest - none of us have the brain capacity for more.

15 Perimenopausal symptoms you've NEVER heard of
Perimenopause isn’t just hot flushes and mood swings - it’s a whole catalogue of bizarre, uncomfortable, and sometimes quite funny symptoms no one warns you about.
In this episode, I share some of the weirdest ones I’ve personally experienced (hello, cotton wool tongue and chin hair), plus the incredible list of unusual symptoms my community sent me - from itchy ears to something called Disney rash.
I’ll also talk about how I’ve been learning to cope: adding nourishing foods instead of dieting, moving in ways that feel good, managing sleep chaos, and finding humour in the madness.
More than anything, I want you to know you’re not alone.
If you’ve been Googling your symptoms at 3am, wondering if you’ve lost yourself, this episode is for you.
